Shift Knobs???!!! (counterweighted?)

I'm looking for a shift knob for the evo. I want a counterweighted one. I've searched on here and haven't found much. Just wanted people to post what they have or post a pic of their knob or both. All I've seen is the mitsu knob, the works rally knob, and the kartboy knob. I'm planning on going with the perrion short shifter if it matters. Also I don't want a gap between the knob and the boot. Thanks.

i dont think that you can get away with the gap...but i have the greddy counterweight somewhere around here(switched to momo for dumb show reasons) but the greddy was great only thing i didnt like about it was the fact that i coulnt shift when its hot *** hell out side..why you ask because of the fact that the greddywas metal or soething and absorbed all the heat...

Me too. I had to store my GReddy shift knob for the summer. One sunny 90 degree day here and the knob felt like a waffle iron. It reminded me of that scene from Raiders of the Lost Ark when the **** interrogator grabs the hot medallion from the fire and burns the pattern into his palm. I could swear that I'm almost able to read the Evo shift pattern in my hand after trying to use that thing.

I do like the GReddy unit, certainly more than the stock Mitsubishi knobr, although it still isn't perfect. I'd like one just a little bigger still to fit my big paw.

I got rid of the gap, it's pretty easy. All you have to do is takie off the console and remove the plastic washer that sits on top of the boot.

Don't forget about Razo shift knobs. My brother and I are running the black/round 340 g shift knob (~= weight to the Greddy's). Browse through Option Auto Salon's selection and you'll see several shift knobs all with their weights listed.

Does anyone have a picture of the silver Mitsu accesory knob on their car? A while back a guy posted the accesory brochure from Poland and it had a silver shift knob that I think would look great with the evo's interior.

I just got a Razo counterweight shift knob from www.lancershop.com - Came in a couple of days ago so I haven't had a chance to install it yet ... looks and feels like the shiznit tho... I'll take some pics if I get the chance next week (also got Craig Hardy's panel installed and relocated the radio)
