To bad I don't live out there. The only problem with that is once I drove an Evo, I wouldn't want to drive my OZ again.

Yeah but that only applies to members who've paid their annual membership fee of $169 and California residents who can prove it by producing a legitimate California driver's license. If you're under $21 you have to put down a minimum security deposit of $8,000!!!! That's insane. I think i'll wait till the evo arrives to our shores in the Spring.

membership fee is $149, and you do not have to be a cali resident. im sure the $8k deposit can be held on credit and it's completely refundable. and for someone like me who is going to Cali soon, and who will never own an Evo this seems pretty decent. I remember in Miami you could rent a lambo for just oer $400 a day plus all that extra **** like having to be over 23 and security deposit.

Damn dude, i always thought you were way older than 17. Well you sure dont act like a 17 year old.

Anyway, i got an e-mail from ClubEvo. i wanted to know "ALL" of the extra **** an under aged person has to go through. and this it what they said.

Thank you for your interest shown with 'Club Evo'.

All members who are under 21 years of age at the time of rental must provide a $8000 dollar security deposit with a major credit card. This includes the $2000 Insurance deductible and must not have any DWI/DUI convictions.

The Club EVO Team.

Either way, you gotta put some money just to try out that awesome car for a day.

I got an email also from them stating that the $8000 deposit is refundable if you don't total the car! Also any valid US drivers license is accepted.

Another good idea is to get a fake ID and credit card. Rent the lancer and just right out strip the engine out of it. Put an OZ engine in it. Then put the evo engine in your Lancer.
