Stock Lugs and Spare?

Do the stock lugs fit the spare? I put on new wheels and was putting a set of stock lugs in the wheel well for the spare. The don't seem to fit, but I didn't take the spare out to verify.

the stock lugs should fit the spare, I mean what good is the spare if the stock lugs don't hold it on the hub?

They'll work, but just like the spare itself, only temporarily
