I've seen posts about it, but I've never seen pictures. I'm referring to the so-called version 2 of the HKS SSQV, which supposedly comes with an upper intercooler pipe. I was wondering if anyone has it on their car or if anyone's seen it. Maybe some pictures? I'm waiting on my HKS SSQV order and I plan to use it alongside the HKS intercooler kit, once it's readily available. I've done some searching, but I can't seem to find anything. Maybe I'm searching the wrong way? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ya there is a guy on here that has one, its helal clean... it mounts under the strut bar its very clean.. i'll see if I can find it for you

Guys, the one that I posted is indeed the SSQV ver.2. There is no other. I'm an HKS dealer since 1992, and that is the one called ver.2. difference between the ver.1 and 2 is the beside the shape the sound, ver.1, everybody know the sound, ver.2 sounds like the greedy typeS.

That is NOT the SSQV Ver 2. It is the RACING VER.2 as metaphysical said. The SSQV has only had one incarnation. However the original RACING BOV was superceeded by this "Racing Ver. 2". There is however 2 different INSERTS for the SSQV, one is gold and one is purple, but defiently NO SSQV Ver. 2.

I know it's getting picky, but no reason to mislead anyone into an incorrect purchase.

NO NO NO he doesn't mean the type 2... there is another install its the SSQV version I but it mounts fr more differently then the normal system does... there is a new elbow and valve thats moutns directly before the throttle body and stock BOV hard pipe.... it sits almost directly below the Strut Bar... someone on here had it in a BOV thread or something I saw it a few months back... I can't seem to find it now, I wondered who made that pipe up though

 

Probably just the new HKS I/C piping kit mounts the BOV under the strut bar. Uses the same valve. The "Type 2" is the Racing Valve. Nothin new at all, been around for a while.
