Nice "fully warranteed" 400 hp Evo and we have to fight over clutches. Such a sad existence is MMA.

HAHAHAHA! ROFLOL.

Na, their dealers tend to be a little bit more "cottage industry" than ours are. If our dealers do the same stuff that theirs do we would be in product liability hell...we have an equivalent industry, they are called "tuners".

Dear lord, a 400 horsepower japanese car...based off of a grocery getter...and no one would've ever seen it coming.... I wonder if Top Gear will test it and if it'll beat the Lotus Exige's track time ?

Braf. nice to see another MLR member on here. there is no reason that it couldn't be done, it would just be a big step for Mitsubishi to take. It may even be a way of beating the Scoobies in Group N!!!!!

thanks Chris.

PS. be nice to see what turbo they would run.

Looks like the SCCA ProRally engines tuned by HKS have just found a home.

Oh yeah, I thought that those were going to be available in the states?? At least that is what it said in the Speed Magazine. They mentioned that somehow or another they were going to be putting them in Evo's or they would be selling the motors I think.

Did you see the price though? 40,000 GBP is roughly $74,000 at the current exchange rate and 45,000 is roughly $82,000. You can buy 2 Evos and mod one of them to 400 BHP for that price here in the US.
