bypass oil filter

bypass oil filter

has anyone installed a byspass oil filter on their evo?? if so, where did you return the oil to the block?? i've got one on my grand national and i had to return through the oil fill cap. i've got pictures but how do you make them small enough to post?

can't you use a fitting on the oil filter mount to pick up and return? I believe canton mecca and others have that fitting.

what is this canton mecca? i'm still using the stck style filter only bigger (wix 51334) and i am going to add an additional filter (bypass).

canton is a aftermarket racing filter maker, they have a remote system that mounts a fitting to the filter mount so you can run hoses to a remote filter, filters, whatever you want.
in a remote location you would have room for a bigger filter, as you prolly know there isn't much room under a lowered car.
