Re-post of clamp tightening

Guys, my car was not pulling as hard again at high rpms, so I checked all ic hose clamps and the one near the battery and the one under our snorkel were waaayyy too loose. My previous post was on tightening the one below the bov and behind it, but now I urge everyone to tighten ALL of their clamps. I took the car out again and now it pulls like a freight train to redline again (almost feels like a 15-20 horsepower difference up above 5000 rpm, below that it feels the same as before). The only explanation I have is that our engines run such high boost (19 psi and higher if you have a mbc or ebc) that these clamps will loosen under extreme load; thus the slightest leak will constitute a loss in power delivery. Maybe it's just my car, but tighten your clamps again and check out how your ride runs, if it is anything like mine you will be extremely happy you did. It's also free and takes all of 3-4 minutes. L8R.

BTW, I would replace the stock clamps with better ones as well, but tighten them at the very least; it ,makes a world of difference imho.

I just tore mine apart last weekend and turned all the clamps so I don't need to take anything off to re-tighten from now on. Only got 1 small cut from the fan shroud, that sucka is sharp.
