Yea, that was good. But for the REAL good stuff, go the the other episodes, and watch the episode 6 trailer ( June 2004). They race a bunch of minivans around Tsukuba. I mean, if I'm going to buy a minivan, I damn sure better be getting the one that laps TC the fastest Its tooo funny.

I watched the MR episode. The MR RS 6 m/t was the quickest car on that race. Also got to see the minivan race, and was still the quickest of the bunch!

I have evo strikes back and guess what? The JDM version is different from USDM version They left out the 5speed vs 6speed part And the translation guy can't say evo nor Advan

 

Actually if you want to get technical, the announcer pronounces it " EH-VO" and we pronounce it "E-VO". It might sound wrong to you, but the rest of the world seems to pronounce it this way as well. The japanese say "EH-VO" as do a large part of the europeans who I have seen review it. I say "E-VO" just like you but think about it. It is pronounced "EH-VOLUTION" so why is it wrong to say "EH-VO".

I have The Evo Strikes back and they do compare the 5speed vs 6speed but they race them with some wrxs. Is that the VS match your talkin about?

 

NO. They compared the evo VII against the Evo VIII taking the same corners and you can see where the gearing helps.

Since the British was the first who pronounced it E-VO i'd think it would be the most accurate. The first time i've ever heard EH-VO is when it best motoring had that guy dubbed it who also done nascar commentary or something and when our cars hit the shores in the states. The older impreze vs evo best motoring show they have pronounced it E-VO.

On Initial D it sounds like they say "Eh-vo". Have you ever seen the top gear video with the evo and sti? Tif calls the imprezza the "IMPRETTZA"...lol.
