the MR is it really worth the wait? Ok well currently looking into alot of topics controversy about the evo, and would really like to own the new MR, talking to a guy at the track tonight, (03, evo 8 running 12.50's) had some nice fuel mods, exhaust mods, new clutch, stock turbo and manifold , car in full stock trim ( unknown boost). Really knew his car good. I asked him about the Mr what he thinks yadda yaa, got onto the six speed, and he said it might be a downfall of that car. Told me that older euro model evos with 6' speeds has trans problems, and yes ur adding weight with another gear, is the case and all that still the same> with another gear packed into it? I could see the small amout of room loss a problem, but not a big one. Lemme know

 

Also, i'd like to know whats involved in fitting the 6 speed to an Evo where the 5 speed has shat itself. Would you need to change diffs at all?
