I'd suggest removing your location and vehicle information after that post...

Stop killing your clutch. Your clutch will last a long time if you don't abuse it.

Yes that smell is your clutch going. You will need a stronger clutch if you want to do 6k launches. But then your tranny is going to go snap. I am assuming that your third post on Evom is going to be how much Mitsu sucks for voiding your warranty based on your second post. I hope your parents are rich b/c it sounds like you are going to need expensive work done every 1500 miles or so.

it's because he can and this is a free country, maybe? I'm taking a long shot here, svillata.

maybe if you do a 4500 rpm launch, it'll be slightly better than doing a 6000 rpm launch.

And you know, if your dealership covered it, knowing that you did launches, maybe they'll replace it again.

My opinion is that hard launches should be reserved for special situations; why launch your car from every stop? It's your car, but if you drive it normally the clutch will be fine. I met with a guy here in Connecticut who I believe has the record for a stock clutch- get ready........ 41,000 mile and the thing still grabs strong!! I would have never believed it, but I drove his evo and the stocker is still holding strong. He has raced other cars from a roll, but never launched; so launch=1300-1500 miles (lmao) and no launch= 41000 miles. You decide what is best for you.
Stay safe,
