Crap :(

Well, I feel like a total moron. I was backing out of my driveway, which is rather steep, with a truck on either side of it. The light had gone out, so the street's totally dark, and I didn't see the truck parked on the other side about 3 feet past my driveway. Long story short, I basically dented in the exact! middle of my trunk, and bent the peice of metal that supports the drivers side licence plate bolt.

I will link the picture as it's rather large. Basically the trunk got dented, as did the little lip under it. It happened tonight, so I'm still VERY pissed about it. 800 miles on the damn car, 1 week old. No one to blame but myself though.

Clicky for pic.

Would it be possible for it to get pulled? It isn't creased, and the paint's intact except for a little on my bumper, but that's the least of my worries. If not, what is the fit and finish on aftermarket carbon fiber trunks? I figure it might be a good excuse to go with a CF hood and trunk. Any and all teasing and or advice would be appreciated, rest assured I'm not thin skinned

My deductable is 500 dollars.. the trunk's I've seen (well only one actually) was about 560.. so it makes no sense to raise my premiums for 60 dollars. Does anyone have first hand experience with CF trunks as far as fitment and such? And to the people who will tell me to search, I will.

Maybe you should take an ethics class.

Sucks about the trunk.
