Cruise Control

When I bought my car (used), I had a cruise control with it. Do you know where it could of come from?

Is this like the dealer option by chance?

The cruise control sits behind the headlight switch and it could rotate around to different adjustments.

thanks.

Also, could this slow my car down? I can't seem to get to 60mph on 2nd gear. It reaches just up to 57 mph~58 mph before I have to shift to 3rd.

Thanks.

I'm pretty sure that 58mph is supposed to be the top of 2nd. But I've not heard of CC in an evo before

RPM-Speed correlation is determined by gearing. . . not by anything that could possibly slow your car down. If the CC WAS slowing the car down, if would just take you longer to get to 58mph. . . but you would be at the exact same RPM.

Curise control options

Cruise control is not a supported on the Evo my MMNA. When shopping for my evo, i asked most of the dealers in the chicago area about adding it as an aftermarket option. All the service depts agreed it would be an easy and cheap aftermarket upgrade, but they would immediately void the warranty on anything that could be damaged by over-revving.

I would _love_ to have cruise control and keep my warranty. If anybody has a solution, please post it.

Voiding warranty, ay? That's crappy...

It's sort of a cool controller tho. It screames (short, metallic "yike") whenever I turn it on.

I guess the Mitsu don't put it on.
