i think once i get an exhaust this will be the next mod. I think in the long run the cost would be way less than buying race gas all the time, AND you could safely run higher boost on 93 octane.

What does evolutionm think?

since you ought to be able to use 92 or 93 octane with water injection and tune the car as if you were running 100 octane, of course that might not be enough for you.

very good idea. water on it's own is fine and will let you get some good performance gains. it is tried and tested. will not only let you run higher boost, but with a standalone will let you advance the timimg helping with spool-up and reduce exhaust gas temps (good if you are running anti-lag)! also good for in the furture if you plan on more mods!

i would run a 50/50 mix of water/methanol through a high flow system! the water to provent det and the meth to reduce inlet temps/increase octane!

hope you get it fitted and it all goes well. dont forget to get the thing set up though to make the most of it!
