my friend in philippines really got me in his JDM evo 8. he has a ralliart ecu, and based on the dyno, it increased 10-20 hp at wheels. so i am considering on getting one, but my question is will is work on US evo 8?

 

Seeing that the thing ties in with the immobilizer, my guess would be no.

 

No, it won't work. But if you hoping to gain 10-20 whp on USDM Evo 8, your goal can be accomplished by ECU reflash.

 

so i guess im gonna have to go with AEM but which would you guys suggest, AEM or A'pexi power FC?

 

I'd go with UTEC

 

most people use the AEM but a standalone is only as good as the tuner......

 

I sense some confusion to engine management....you're jumping from a ralliart ecu to wanting a power fc/aem ems......maybe you should re-evaluate your plans for the car what you want to achieve.
