There is a buy it now if people want to "Buy It NOW". That is also why EBAY has a reserve price. So it must reach a certain level. Yeah you do not get your money out of mods. Thanks for the tip, we have only built about 5 cars like this, LOL. We sold our 2004 WRX for $30K, so yes people do pay. Remember the Fast and the Furious Supra. That POS sold for like a $100K since it was in the movie. Frankie Munoz of Malcolm in the Middle bought that POS white Jetta from the movie for like $45K a while back. Think that car was worth it?
Anyways... Blonde is correct, these cars are built as marketing tools. We buy, we build, we use, we show, we race, we sell. If I was like Eddie Murphy then I would keep my cars to drive a different one everyday, but honestly I drive 10 minutes to work. I simply put it on Ebay to gain some attention if there was a interested party.
EVO's are still being sold new for $30K plus. Why not get a fully built car making a ton of power for $15K more. You will spend that anyways right? And BTW if you think it has only looks parts and cannot hold its own, name the Road Course, we will be there for a good old fashion challenge
All parts, dyno sheets, and pics are posted and a COMPLETE build up is here for more info - http://www.vividracing.com/index.php...Project%20Cars
Thanks for the posts!
