Leather is more expensive. It's hotter in the summer and colder in the wiinter. It wears worse and requires more care. It is not as grippy so you will slide around more during spirited driving. It smells nice.

In short, leather sucks for a performance car.

I've had leather in all of my cars except for the Evo. The Evo cloth seats are warmer (like wearing a sweat shirt when driving) and the friction from moving around in them creates more heat.

If you can afford it, get the leather. I think you'll find them more comfortable. With a seat belt on, I doubt you'l move around much.

As far as wear, I think leather will be a lot more durable than the cloth (why do you think shoe soles are made out of leather instead of cloth) and it doesn't stain as easy, smells newer longer. Do a search, I've seen posts on some of the high mile cloth seats coming apart.

imo, 30000= better have leather... auto-x my car all the time for five years, my leather seats have never been an issue while wearing seat belt.

I for one am sick of leather... It will crack if not maintained. It slides, and its more expensive...

Yea im getting cloth.

If my cloth seats do degrade, or get ****ty, I will switch them out with Sparco's or leather racing seats of some kind.... No use getting OEM leather.
