Dude, I just found this thread, but I'm the guy that pulled up next to you in the red truck at Waverly Place a while ago. You gotta see mine. I just got my AEM EMS installed. Car pulls like a raped ape now. Anyway, hope to see you at a meet sometime.

Sweet action. I have had my RR RS for about 3 weeks now. Break in is completed, albeit very hard to baby it. I also threw in a stereo early this week which is all I'm going to do for a while I think. The car is pretty damn close to perfect for me. I love all the noises it makes, feels like a machine instead of an appliance.
The only two things that I can negatively discuss is it seems like the car doesn't pull as hard as it used to. When I first picked it up at 3000rpms it was a violent acceleration, it seems more mild now. Maybe I'm used to it.
Second is a knocking noise at high rpms (6000-7000). I'm hoping it's not piston slap. I'd like to ride in a few other EVOs to see if the sound exists in thier cars as well.
Lastly I tangled with an STi with exhaust, blow off, and probably a couple other toys the other day. He HARDLY pulled on me from 60mph to 110mph and by hardly I mean probably less than 12 inches.

I also just got and RS. Amazing car. I paid 25,998 and it is weightless white. It is broken in- very tough. I am cranking the hell out of it. I am having a hard time getting off the line quickly. That is really my only gripe. But I think once I get used to it I will get better at it. The clkutch slip seems to be way up on the pedal. Unlike my 2600 ACT on my other heavily modded 90GSX which is close to the floor.
