Cangrats on the cover TT; job well done! I agree the chick is a little less then great, but I wouldn't throw her outta bed for eating crackers.
XXXRacing, cool out man. Not every question is a stab. I had the exact same reaction when I read the cover; because I know some of the stuff in the car does not make it practical for street use. But I thought about it, like nastea, and in the strictest of senses it is a street car (tagged, drivable in stop and go traffic, etc). I personally don't consider it a street car (I know, it's an opinion), and I'm sure other don't either likely including TT, so it's still a valid question to ask. I'll bet even TT doesn't drive it around on the streets; at least not very often (but the cover kinda makes a big deal, in several locations, about it being a streetable car (which implies to me driven in the streets often)). But I'm sure you'll tell me I'm swinging from Al's nuts too. I try very hard to keep the tuner feuding BS to a minimum, but some questions just begged to be asked. Take three deep breaths before writing a come back so harshly next time maybe? If anything the mag is to blame for hyping that part up so much. But no matter what, it still doesn't take anything away form their incredible achievements.
Anyway, again congrats to the entire TT team!! You guys have earned this with your hard work and dedication. And I'll buy the mag too.. help support the evo scene a little.

Well we know that Automotorports has the fastest " street " evo. They used 16" rims, with ET streets and small brake calipers, much like us. So ... if the other tires / rims were on for the photo shoot ..that would still be street right nastea ??? Now lets continue... The car has a radio , full interior , carpet, automatic windows , full glass, no carbon fiber trunk , no carbon fiber hood. Ohhh i must know what your talking about .. the A/C was taken out. That would explain it.. You cant drive on the street withot a/c. This will not be the first mag that the car will be on. There will be 3 in total. . yes 3. We built the car not only for speed but for looks. It has obviously worked out for us. Why dont i drive the car everyday / to work. Because i dont have to. Keith has an evo, i have an evo , jeff has an evo... See the picture. We dont drive it because we dont have to. We bought the car off ebay in january 04'. Keith and i drove it back and we built it... plain and simple. There was way to much smack talking on this board about a certain someone that couldnt be beat. Well guess what we beat him and everyone else in the process. The car made 5 or 6 non nitrious passes... why ? because we wanted to be the fastest non nitrous evo as well. We built the car in a few short months and it has exceeded my expectations. First pass with the car it went 10's, while some people have struggled for low 11's for over a yr now. You can have your pom poms for al,, thats all good. But dont hate on what we did and what we accomplished by taking pot shots at us all the time. Its getting old .. fast.

Come on Turbotrix. You know if Al took the A/C out and went to 15" wheels he would be in the 9's too.
BTW, the car looks great. Good luck w/ it and we as a EVOm community are definitely awaiting your turbo kits.
