do you have a downpipe? if not go with that! if you do, then i'd say maybe a boost controller?

I am leaning towards the boost controller, but am trying to decide if I would go with a mbc or ebc and then which one

Next mod should be a boost controller. A manual will be about 100, so you have extra money for a downpipe. How about shifter bushings? Very inexpensive. Turbo timer?

ThanksGuys, I am probably going to get the Hallman MBC, and maybe use the rest to pay off the credit cards, which probably means I will be buying something else in about 2 weeks. btw I already have the tt , forgot to list it

I agree with these guys. Go for the MBC then later on upgrade the downpipe. Or better yet, get both!

Or a test pipe or hi-flow cat with the MBC

Consider getting a recirculating bov because the stock one tends to leak under boost. Also, it's very fragile and gets damaged very easily.

I installed a Megan Racing downpipe and it was great, you can find it on Ebay for $129 plus shipping.

I think the best recirc BOV for the EVO is the TurboXS H34, very great sound improvement, and easy to do.

Although personally I would go with a ECU flash rather than the SAFC, but hey keep us posted.

I agree. I'd rather reprogram my ECU than trick it into pushing more boost, but that's just me.

I'd finish out the exhaust. Downpipe and HF Cat for about $400.

i got a $60 Catco 3" catalytic and then got flanges from AMS for $13 a piece, and then welded it together for all less than $100...it works great...the 3" all the way through made a difference from 3"dp to 2.25" stock cat to 3" catback...worth the money.

Can they reprogram the ECU to more boost so yo don't have to run a MBC?
