as some f you know im going to talk to a mistu rep tomorrow. the reason he wants to "inspect" the carbon spoiler is what he said," it is a part that cost over $1500 and anything over that much must be inspected for a warrantee to be replaced. i look at my car invoice and it shows the spoiler cost around $500. if i went to a mitsu dealer and asked to buy one, how much would it actually cost?

 

The part on Mitsubishiparts.net is around 1,000. I looked at buying one without the wing, and the dealer showed me in their computer where the part was listed for ~1450, that doesn't include labor. I decieded to get an 04 and take advantage of the warranty. Hope things go well, good luck, and keep us posted.Adam

step 3: buy a used OEM cf spoiler for half the retail price

 

screw that, get a veilside CF spoiler they look so nice....
