As of now, we may end up doing a Nov 28th date like robi mentioned. gt40 has already booked the date and offered it up to be used for the event if we want Dec 17th would be cool, but Cal Speedway can be dangerous and it'll be very tough to cover the expenses for an all-evo day. Nov 28th would allow for Streets of Willow, which is far safer, technical, and more cost effective

Thats great. The nice thing about SOW if we choose the right config and rotation we can compare directly with times from the evo orgy, SCC USCC, and our last EOC event...nice to see how everyone else stacks up! Oh you can still see 125 mph entry speed into corner 1 with your foot still flat on the floor (if your EVO has OOF like my Stage V) going uphill on the main straight.

Robi, damn that's fast! I was not looking at your speedometer when you gave me a ride, but I know we were freaking moving. I remember getting into fourth gear in my Evo; however, I don't think I was getting much over 100 mph (if I was even close to that).

We vote for Dec! I'll be doing a NJ Dyno tuning weekend during the first week of Oct.

I vote for December. Me , yellowfever, evojimbo and probably 5-10 more EVO-NY members are going to be flying out there for that weekend to see the JGTC event. Adding this shootout to our agenda would be awesome.

Im pulling for December still, with my fingers crossed.

Sorry I was so slow to post up on here... having a crazy last two weeks and a few more in store!

I recently realized that Nov 28th is the weekend of Thanksgiving and I don't think I will be here I did talk to gt40 (Mark) about finding other dates at SOW to run this particular event. I can't thank those guys enough for extending the date to us and working to see things happen. They really want to do what they can to get everyone out to the track. The EOC will still use the Nov 28th date themselves.

I have been working with Aaron Bitterman @ Speed Ventures (fellow Evo owner) for setting up the event. Since the Cal Speedway date was deemed riskier and more expensive, I asked about additional SOW dates. He has managed to find the weekend of Dec. 4th-5th. This date is available to us and I'd like to pick it up ASAP, but I just wanted to post up to make sure everyone was aware and to get feedback. I really think this will work out to be the best compromise of safety and scheduling. The safety of SOW and the weekend dates should make this a win win situation.

Just to clarify I will post the updated date below:

Track: Streets of Willow
Date: December 4th-5th (Saturday and Sunday)
Itinerary: Shooout, Track Time, BBQ, Evo Meet, raffles, etc.
