question:

i'm considering the greddy Ti exhaust; would this shield help from getting stains and soot on the bumper from the too-short greddy unit?

Why is the greddy system too short? is it made to fit the JDM rear bumper? why doesnt greddy fix this problem and extend it a bit. i might go with the Ti JIC for that reason alone, looks silly being 2" short.

The greddy ones are short because titanium is not cheap! I am sure they are all built on the small side.

Yes, the piece would definitely help you in this situation. A couple of the guys bought the piece for that particular purpose.
