Injen Rep- Injentech
I just got my kit intake/uic pipe kit installed (finally) and it's great... sounds great, looks great, and gives a nice boost in the butt dyno...
...just need you guys to come out with the rest of the silicone hosing for those nasty stock ones...

How does the intake with upper pipe affect air/fuels? My car is completely stock and I'm planning on getting at least a catback. I don't want to run any sort of fuel management computer or get the PCM reflashed just yet. It shouldn't lean out too much right?
Thanks
Thanks
evokid, thanks for the welcome and hotrod- Our intake/uic system is designed with the stock EVO in mind. To properly produce adequate power, a/f is crucial. So rest easy, when I say we've done the work for you.
You should not experience any problems with our system other then increased HP and torque! The previous page has the dyno sheet for the system.
If you will be adding a catback system, you notice some great gains! Our SES1898 Stainless Steel Exhaust system mated with the IS1898 produced a lot of power!

I just recently installed the Injen intake and intercooler piping kit. Due to a packaging error, I didn't have the correct elbow piece, but Injen got me the correct one in two days... very nice! Now that it's installed, I can say it's very well built and it looks great. The install is a bit tedious as you have to remove the bottom undertray and I hate that (stupid little plastic screws)
I didn't experience any fitment issue though  I'm going to get some pics and dyno graphs ASAP.
The kit is very complete, especially if you run a MAF. It includes a bracketed intake to bolt up to the stock piece. In my case, I just stuck a K&N filter over the intake pipe as I have no MAF anymore

Anybody with BR stage 1 using this intake kit? I really like this kit but not sure if I'll have any difficulty issues mix matching parts. According to a post, EVO8power didnt have all Buschurs parts and his car didnt run right. After all BR parts only were put on then it ran right. I just don't want to have this problem. What do you think Injentech? Anyone else?
As far as I know and speaking from my own past experience, you shouldn't have any problems running other manufacturer's components. Keep in mind, it's always a good idea to let your ecu compensate as necessary when installing parts.
