I know this subject has been done to death but I am looking at getting a turbo timer within the week. Does anybody have any advice on this one? Better option? So far, thinking about the Blitz DTT-DC II Turbo timer.

 

no advice on the Blitz in particular, although you will come to realize that most people are of the opinion that a TT is not needed for our turbos, which is more or less true.

However, i still run the HKS type 1 b/c it has so many other features, like a acceleration timer and a shiftlight.

 

thanks man. The blitz has some cool features too like the boost gauge and stuff. Why is it that no timer is needed? Mitsu says let it run so hot oil isn't sitting in the turbo housing. Sometimes I have to get out of the car in a hurry though. I know the hood vent helps to cool it faster, but the oil would still be in the turbo at shutdown.
