it could've been a lot worse man... but take it from me... get that neck of yours checked ASAP... it starts out small, but the pain can get a lot worse... happened to me... 7 years later, i'm starting to recover...

Glad to hear your ok man.. sorry for your loss If that happened to me I'd probably go with an MR
Have you not been payn attention to the law for the past 500 years?!?! If hes hurt and now has some emotional trauma who are you to say that our insurance premiums are more important then letting the other guy get what he deserves for making a bad choice? My whole life is screwed up because of a guy who did nearly the same thing , crushed discs in my lower back and now I cant even sit in my car for an hour without being in gut-renching pain!!!! (Despite even the PIMP RECARO'S we all love) So if suing him brings him some relief Ill pay a little extra because thats what the laws are set up for in this country in this regard. To bring relief to the afflicted in some way and its not for you to judge whos worthy , I hope you never have to learn this the way we have!

well i'm sure we'all glad you ok, and it's good to see that you're well enough to post here. I say look at it as a sort of blessing for you to get an MR... it's calling your name....

Sorry about your loss, but happy you are OK. Definitely echo "justchil"...SUE!

At least get back your deductable...plus the increase in monthly insurance permiums many companies assess even if your weren't at fault.

The 10% premium hike for three years for "ordinary" accidents can increase a $500 deductable to $980 ($500+480) assuming an annual insurance premium of $1600.

($1600 x .1 x 3 = $480)...the three year increase in premium.

You can get another car but not another life! The car is your hobby not your life. Good luck with your next car

Wow. I had the EXACT same accident! I was going 45mph ,but instead of a big ol truck pulling out in front of me, a pos toyota did. Seemed to do the exact same amount of damage as your car. How eerie.
