Question Intercooler spray not working.

I got a Clifford alarm installed in my Evo the other day and now my intercooler spray wont work. I checked the plumbing and it not clogged. When I press the manual button I hear the solenoid click but the little pump doesn’t turn on. I’m thinking they the installers of the alarm may have knocked out a fuse while they were under the dash. So, I guess what I am really looking for is a picture of the fuse box under the dash so I can see if any thing is missing. Thanks.

out of fluid?

Check your spray resorvoir in the trunk to make sure you aren't out of fluid or something ridiculous. It is behind a removble plate on the rear right side of the trunk wall.

Yeah, that has all been checked. It just looks like the pump is not working/not getting power.

Man I should have learned the location of that resorvior before I totally built a custom box/amp display that totally blocked it in.... hmmm.....

I think the intercooler spray resorvior is in the engine bay on the right side and the window spray is in the trunk...

If it helps

The spray system has 3 fuses

2 under dash,

fuse # 23, 10 amp, red for the sprayer motor only, I would check this one first.

fuse # 5, 7.5 amps, brown, for the spray relay, but you hear it click so its probably OK.

1 in the engine compartment.

Fuse # 20, 7.5 amps, brown for the water spray switch, lots of things would not work if this were blown, radio, clock etc, so its probably OK.

Sorry I don’t have any pics, check # 23, if it’s a fuse it has to be that one.

I read the manual and checked all the fuses but, it looks like #23 is missing.. I could be looking in the wrong place. Thats why I need a picture. It also looks like some of the fuses are in the wrong places. Thanks.

I/C switch bad

It might have killed the switch. I had an issue after installing my Turbo Timer.

Mine was bad after 3K miles. It made a click on the dashboard, but it did not switch on and off.

Got it replaced by .
Works fine now.

I might just be retarded, but I thought the intercooler spray was in the trunk.

My IC switch has been fouled up for awhile. Isn't there some kind of Light that shows up on the dash? It's been so long since mine has worked I forgot if it comes on in auto-mode or manual. Does anyone know? I might have to check my fuses as well. Just never really missed it I guess...

I/C Switch

Yes. If you put it in Auto a light will come on the dash. If you spray in manual mode, it does not.

Hope this helps.

Dude... that's for the rear window washer, not for the intercooler sprayer. The IC Sprayer tank is under the hood next to the airbox...

Can not speak for any learning disability of yours, but the IC spray tank is next to the airbox.
