At the local gas station I can get 95 octane which I run everyday for 1.91 a gallon. they also have 110 octane at the pump for 4.00 a gallon. this is convenient and the price isnt bad. I am located in SC.

Can you just run a tank of 100 octane and be OK?????- or should you mix with a lower octane-

If you had 5 gallons of 100 octane and 5 gallons of 93 octane mixed eqaully would you get 96.5 octane?

Does anyone know about this? I found a sort of local GT 100 sunoco gas station about 20 miles from me in Lakeland, I might go check it out...

GT100 is what i use when I'm in the area where the Sunoco stations are.. I filled up an empty tank on just 100 and the car ran very nice.

The only reason I would mix is to save cost... No point in running 100 octane for daily driving unless you have money you don't need.. in that case send some my way

I just dumped a 5 gallon can of the VP Performance Unleaded I get from a motorcycle shop around here. Makes a big difference in IMHO. Car feels/sounds a lot meaner. Really amazing. From what I understand pump gas loses some of that octane, as compared to a sealed can. Just wish I could afford to do that all the time.

I hate to say it, but 'NASCAR' states really have it nice, when considering Race Fuel.

Sunoco GT 100 = $3.91/Gal.

Have to drive 2 hours roundtrip to get it, but it sure is nice to have a 55 gallon drum in the garage.
