Question Chicagoans

No one from Chicago or anyone hopefully in Illinois has got a dealer to sell you the Evo for MSRP?

Anyone tried yet? I'm working on it...

if you can't find any in Chicagoland, you might try Wayzata Mitsubishi in the Minneapolis suburbs. it isn't all that far away....
they are on the msrp list here - and they said they would only charge msrp....

I dunno if I'd suggest Wayzata Mitsubishi. They already have quite a few people in line. Last I heard there were at least 14 people!

yeah... I an #13 on the list, and I don't expect to get a car til sometime in the summer, which is ok by me. the sales manager I spoke to seemed to not have his head in his ***, and could answer most of the questions - he even knew what AYC was, but he didn't know if the US spec Evo8 would be getting it. he also said that Wayzata Mitsubishi would be getting 35 of the first year Evo8s. This number was so high because they were one of the top lancer dealers in the US, and I guess this strongly impacts how many Mitsubishi is sending each dealer.

just have to wait & see I guess....

They also have a good record for service. I believe that they have received a few service awards from in the past. This and Lancer sales will definitely help them out.
