I was told that if you go to the dealership and let them replace the stock unit, you are looking at spending a little more than $1k.
But most people who replace their clutches don't opt to replace it with another of the weak stock units. If you choose a more durable clutch, you could easily spend more than $1k on the part alone. But the benefit is that you won't have to go back and replace that part for a long time.
