durability of the antennae

i was wondering if the antennae would break if i went through one of those automated gas station car washes... thanks...

i doubt it would break but you can unscrew it before going through

please tell me you are going thru one of those brushless carwashes...many carwashes with the brushes can not only clean your car but scratch it to death with the brush bristles. nonetheless, @ a brushless car wash, the water won't do anythign to the antenna, but yea you can always unscrew it but be careful putting it back on, you don't want to ruin the threads by cross threading

Hey I ran it through one of those car washes, the antenna was fine but it scratched the hell out of the rear spoiler. I leraned my lesson I'll just hand brush it myself.

well mitsubishi warns drivers tht cars with spoilers or unsuitable rears r not allowed into automated car washes..e evo has this little warning sticker tht warns drivers not to use automated car washes coz of e spoiler. n mitsubushi chariots r also not recommended into automated car washes.
