I voted for auto-climate control. My current car has spoiled me.

But, I can think of better factory or dealer options:

A quality-brand, attractive gauge package in the top DIN location (boost, EGT, oil pressure)

A roll-cage with front 5-point harnesses and harness bar.

dvd and navigation would be cool to have, so I can use it for long trips instead of my SUV (for the kids!)

I voted for 6 speed but gauge package would be nice too Boost gage should come standard with the Evo but at least if they had a boost/etg/oilpressure gage option that would be really nice.
Another idea: racing clutch since the EVO stock clutch tends to go out so quick.

Interior trim delete. My RS has a trunk trim delete. Why not the interior?

Good list I could have voted for a few choices. MR takes care of 6 speed and why would anyone want the Evo in a automatic?

There must be someone out there because they made the Evo VII GT-A with an automatic transmission. It expands the Evo's market to people that don't want a manual. Selling more Evos is good, right?
I wouldn't buy an automatic Evo, but I don't care if it was an option, and wouldn't it be great if it was available as a rental car? It sure beats driving a Ford or Buick.

They should add a warranty that they will honor.

The 6 speed is best for racing. Every racing circuit where the 5 vs 6 speed has been tested showed the 6 speed with quicker lap times.

Well maybe for the track, but straight line racing, the 5 speed is almost always better.

More time in gear less time shifting

I voted auto climate because REAL GAGUES where they can be monitored aren't listed.
