the mitsu academy says the lancer's unibody is very rigid and strong body... but the evo is 2x stiffer vs twisting strength and 1.6x stronger vs bending then the lancer.... i know the evo has a tougher chassis then the sti, but i wonder by how much.....

 

I was reading an interesting article in SCC about Project Evo vs. Project STi. They were actually testing brakes but also got into the discussion about the handling of each of the cars. They stated that even though they upgraded the STi's suspension, it wasn't nearly as precise and controlling as the Evo's. It even underperformed the Evo's cornering G's (I think it was .93) and I can't remember the other number.
