Just wondering what the average insurance cost is on the EVO? Hopefully this won't slow me down to much on when I get mine. Please let me know what you guys all pay around.

well, before this thread gets deleted or moved to the newbie forum, i'll offer this: don't be scared off by other prople's high premiums. your rate is usually determined more by your driving record, age, etc. than by the make of the car. i called my agent for a quote recently and i was surprised at how low my premiums on an evo would be. she said the car is in an "average" risk category. ymmv.

 

in NJ (Essex county Newark area sorty same county) 1850.00 26 married, 0 points and no accedents in over 5 years. Or at least no claims in over 5 years

mine is $1600 a year. It got lowered since I finally got my ABS discount. They thought I didn't have ABS.
