And it's really pathetic that these cars didn't muster better times (minus that 30K red econobox ) I mean what's the objective? Shiv (or anyone else) could probably modify their evo a lot more than they did, so a 30K dollar car now with 295mm tires, widebody kit, 20K dollar brakes, 15K coilovers, but what's the objective? (We would really kick some *** then )
Forgive me but I don't see how anyone could look at this test and call it "dumb." C&D Supercar Challenge is all about pitting together the most extreme, well-rounded machines in a comprehensive event that tests durability, drivability as well as *****-out performance. And it's certainly possible for anyone to modify their evo a "lot more than [we] did." However, the cars are based on performance and drivability, not who has the biggest list of "upgrades."

Regards,
Shiv

Based on these times, my Vishnu Stage 1+ should kick some Lambo, RS6, and M3 a$$. Stage 2 should take care of the rest, with the exception of modded Vipers. Not bad for less than $40K. Of course, the women aren't really throwing themselves at the Evo. The Lambo would win that competition hands down.

Maybe that's why Shiv looks so lonely at the back of the pack. He does seem to have his eye on the chic with the CTS.

haha... it was funny waiting and waiting and waiting for the photog to tell me where to park the car for the cover shot. I had a feeling we wouldn't be up and center since the purpose of the cover pic is to sell mags! So no hard feelings. I'd rather stare at a Mosler than our silly red EVO any day.

It was still a fun event and I'm happy the car did as well as it did (minus the IC hose that kept blowing off). Next year we're going for the overall win dammit!

I wasn't insulting your car or how well you did Shiv (one fight on the forums Shiv and now you think I'm always out to get you).

I like the idea of a bone-stock contest better than a tuner owned shop car (if the playing field is so open). But then again, I would prefer to just drive my car than read a magazine.

Thumbs up

thats hella an accomplishment when u pit a 30k car with mod here and there to the 100K+ cars there. doesnt this remind u the story of the little evo that could?

Shiv, congrats again...

Way to represent the Evo community and lay it down on the pretty cars

Expect to be hearing from me when I finally get this project car off the ground...
