Dude, I hate to burst your bubble, but that's not a triangle piece on the grill. It's the place where your nose fits in the sunglasses. Seriously, look at the picture. Sunglasses, mustache, wide grimacing mouth. The Evo is designed to look like Boris Badanoff in disguise. In any case, I like it. It's badanoff for me.

oh and i forgot to point out.. Mitsubishi and pontiac are not the only ones who have that grille style. Renault (which isn't sold in the US though) also has that kind of grille. At least on the Clio it does.

The new Megane 2 has the same front too...
Olivier Boulay is French after all... and I think he worked for either Renault or Peugeot
I just hope that the designs beyond the questionable grille will be stylish

I hope so too, or at least let's hope there are body kits available if that style doesn't grow on people. And as far as having the same designs as Renault, I would hope they don't. That new Megane 2 is fugly as hell, and not because of the grille, i can cope with that, but I don't know what they did to the back of that car. It will take quite some time before i can look at it and not feel like it's supposed to be different from what it is.

PS: I really really dig the Laguna though. One wouldn't associate Renault with high luxury but they did a good job in my opinion.

Oh dear god, I merely thought the Evo's grill was ugly before. Now it's ugly and FRENCH!!! NOOOO!!!!!!

I hated it untill I saw the car in 3d at the LA auto show. The lines and design actually work well together with the centerpiece.

It's starting to grow on me I think!?

But I heard that it looks better in real life - if that's any consolation.

OK, OK, I got nothin to say -
just wanted to post something
