Another Write Up in Car and Driver

I don't know if anyone has posted this already but in the september issue of car and driver there is a page about how evo owners are getting declined for warranty issues. If I can get my scanner working, I'll try to scan the page....

I read that. What really pisses me off is how in the midst of all of this crap they are praising their "best-backed cars in the county". What a load.

Wow, I got the new scanner working and scanned the two pages on my first try . But, since I don't know how to post pics, can I email it to someone to post it for me?

Just make it small (under 100kb and use your post manager) then post.

I think it's great people are addressing this, but for a company that's not sure about the future stability of the company, they could careless.

I just hope that dude from Hyundai's gonna do some good at Mitsu. Like 10 year "don't ask" warranty on drivetrain... and some sort of SCAA allowed warranty.

maybe theyll even let you just have a brand new one no matter what

No offense to anyone who actually deserved warrentee work and was denied, but alot the complaining is realy unjustified since most evos getting denied warrentee work either are modified beyond what the stock parts could take, or saw some track/street abuse

Evo VIII, when you save them from your scanning program, save them as jpgs with say, 65% compression. That should drop the file size down nicely.

Actually that's not the case most of the time, but let's not argue about that in this thread.
