when it comes to gauges and boost controllers, which one is more reliable and accurate? not worried about price. i'm about to buy both so i need input to find out which direction i should go.

MBCs are less expensive and more reliable than EBCs, but EBCs give you more flexibility...as for the gauges, it's a toss up, IMHO...

 

is the greddy a ball spring type?

 

I went with GReddy mechanical boost and EGT...

 

I ditched my autometer mechanical boost gauge for a Greddy electronic gauge. From what I can tell, the response time in the electronic gauge is just as quick as the mechanical.

I'm also using a MBC right now, but my friend tells me once you go electronic u never go back to mechanical.
