Possible to change alarm siren to air horns?

My alarm is not that loud and I want to install some air horns for it. Is it possbile just to swap the siren and put a air horn in it with a compressor to blow it? How does it work?

You can hook up just about anything across the alarm relay, as long as the circuit can handle the current...

If the circuit cannot handle the current then you would have to use a realy with power from an alternate source that can handle the current.
