what a shame..he's got a nice car but there's an idiot behind the wheel..why can't people just appreciate all cars that have obviously been proven to work in many cases..the evo is an all around car and i've seen my buddy in an is 300 take a lot of cars in drag and also drift with the best of them..i mean they're both awesome cars..that dude needs to be behind the wheel of a 60's mustang or something since all he thinks about is big engine drag racing..anyways EVO rocks..IS 300 is good too but everyone stop hating..

are you on crack if you can afford an is300 you can afford an evo, but thats a lexus, they're apealing more to luxury type market, performance is not as important
and regarding the conversation, rwd cars ARE better for drag racing, its simple physics, a rwd car makes best use of weight transition during acceleration and it doesnt have the weight penalties of an awd setup, that said im not saying the evo cant run fast tiems in the quarter mile but thats not what it's made for, with enough money you can make any car run fast 1/4s but to make a car go fast through a corner needs alot more work, then you're talking about 2 dimensions not just 1, the number of variables needed to maximise the potential of the car will quadruple
and as for your engine reliability bull****, a 6 cylinder is much better setup than 4 cylinder, thats again simple engineering, in this case his example was not the greatest in the world but i can think of plenty of engines both 6 and 4 cylinder that are way better than the 4g63 in reliability
and as for the stock block crap ... you cant upgrade a block you can only switch to another one, how would you "upgrade" a block neways ive never heard of that
to push to 500bhp you would need to get forged pistons and a new transmission and clutch otherwise youll be looking at syncromehs failures and broken teeth all over the place
