How much whp can the stock clutch handle?

Yes and to prove it you should take your car 150 miles from any city limits and drop the clutch 20 times at full revs. Leave your cell phone at home.

For daily driving yes. For racing no.

If you rage your car the stock clutch will not handle 390whp for more than a couple days at max

Gotta Love and there damn underpowered clutches . I mean come on what were they thinking when they put this car together. If you just street driving your car drive it till it blows and throw an act clutch in it. Seems to be good just dont launch your car sidestep at 6000 and it will hold up fine. If you want to side step your clutch you will need a twin or triple plate clutch. At least if you dont want some broken trans parts.

If you bout it from a stealership, and it was not purchased "as is", they need to fix your clutch - unless it was understood that you were buyind an EVO with a bad clutch (but I bet that they failed to disclose that to you).
