It it possible for Mitsubishi to scan your cpu and gather information that can determine how your car was driven during break in? This is what I was told after a bought my EVO. that if i took it over 5000 RPM before 500 miles that service would be able to tell. Thus void my Warranty.

 

I dont drive an Evo but I dont think they could do that because of the **** can happen saying.

 

Its unlikely.. the 03 Evo's don't have any real data capture like that.. the 04's may have it, but its unlikely they can void your warranty from it.. It would be hard for them to prove abuse from something like that unless they can get alot of data to see how often it happens, which isn't currently possible from what I'm aware of....
