Evolution Experience - UK

I'm not sure if this has been posted before or not. I did a search and didn't find anything that looked similar, although I admit that I didn't read all the mega-threads.

I was looking at Mitsubishi's UK web site to see what the rest of the world calls the paint colors (I hate the gimmick names we have here) and found the following link:

http://www.mitsubishi-cars.co.uk/evo...ence/index.asp

Basically they encourage you to take your Evo out for an organized track day that includes circuit driving, a dry tarmac rally stage and a test drive in a FQ-340. I thought this was hugely ironic considering all the hub-bub here about people getting in trouble for tracking thier cars. I know MMNA, mother ship Mitsubishi in Japan and MM-UK are really loosely organized, but the contrast in attitudes between here in there are impressive. Imagine the goodwill MMNA would garner if they organized something like this here.

Best wishes,
f86sabre

if they did I'm sure it would be something similar with the free scca membership given to wrx owners and when they became members their warranties were voided or something like that.

I have been told that by a couple of wrx owners, I think they offered the free membership when the wrx first came out, I was told that by registering your wrx it voided your warranty, but then again I never owned one so I can't speak from personal experience
