Help I have gone EVO mad!!

Help...
Yes I am new but this forum is not the easiest to find your way around even with the search facility. I am sure some of these questions have been answered so please don't shout.
I previously owned a Mitsubishi FTO GR and now own a Lexus IS200. Both fine cars in their own way but now I am EVO crazy. I want one and I need to know how to go about it. I need to talk with people that have either imported one or bought one from a dealer. I only want the Evo vii not the version vi.
If it is a grey import what should I look out for, who are the best importers how much should I be looking to spend.
I am a bit confused with all the different versions, does anyone have a easy guide?
Does anyone know of any problems that are associated with the Evo range, how much is the cambelt service and other normal service charges?
Has anyone blown a turbo, I have never driven a car with a turbo before what should you NOT do.
What is the max torque of the Evo VII and exactly how good are those brakes?
I keep reading about the ride quality, coming from a Lexus it will probably be somewhat of a shock (excuse the pun) so how bad is it, what have others done to elleviate the bump and poor ride?
Does anyone on this discussion board own a Evo VII and what are their opinions.
Where should I start, I am crazy over them, I am over 25 so insurance should be fine and I am going for one and can't wait. Me and my cars, I have had lots and always been in debt buying them but would never change any of my decisions. The Lexus is a company car and getting rid of it soon, need a sports car again and can't find any better choice.
Dave.
Hampshire as in UK? You shouldn't have too hard of a time finding the importer. Financing may be something altogether different, but I really don't know. I'm fairly certain that Evos are very expensive over there though. The amount in Pounds is very close the the amount in US Dollars (meaning if it's 30,000 USD it'll be near 30,000 Pounds). Could put a serious cramp on your wallet.
