Sparco makes a Quick Release hub for Sparco steering wheels.

They can be viewed at:

Unfortunately, there are no commerically-available hubs that fit. I checked with Nardi, Sparco, and Momo. Nothing.

I know that the orange shop car at TurboTrix has a custom wheel hub that they had made. I did a double-take when I saw an OMP rally wheel mounted inside. When I asked Mark about it, he said it was a custom job.

Maybe you could e-mail TurboTrix to see if they can point you in the right direction.

Your post doesn't ask about a regular steering wheel hub, it asks for a QR (Quick Release) hub, so there is a big difference. A QR hub mounts to a standard steering wheel hub (aka "boss" in Europe). So, Sparco does have a QR hub, as we use it on our project Evo. It is also correct that none of the European manufacturers of steering wheels make a hub for the EVO due to its unique mounting design. However, there are several available directly from Japan. I know this, as we use one on the Sparco Evo. You can contact Adam at Z1 Performance ( www.z1auto.com ) and ask for the JDM style hub for the Evo.

Good luck.

We offer the BOSS Hub which is made in Japan and will bolt on to the EVO8 steering shaft and it also comes with a module to deactivate the AIRBAG warning after AIRBAG is removed.

Check this out!

Actually, I'm a bit confused. Are you asking about the steering wheel hub adaptor or the quick release? The hub is what bolts to your steering column and the quick release bolts to your hub adaptor.

Sorry, the combination of "quick release" and "hub" got me confused.

In any case, we carry both! I think FET makes the best quick release on the market because it's not spline/ball bearing driven like the Sparco. The spline/ball bearing type QR's tend to get "loose" over time which results in a wobbly steering wheel. FET's is not spline driven. Instead, it used a notch/lock mechanism that locks the wheel in place. Also, it's only 1" thick unlike others that are 3" or more. FET is the parent company that brings in NARDI in Japan and is commonly used with NARDI wheels. Super JDM stuff...

We have plenty of these quick release adaptors in stock as well as the BOSS hub adaptor that bolts to your steering column!
