when u remove the dashe panel around the radio's and AC unit... U have to use a fair amount of force. Everything is held in by clips, there are some write ups in the how to section
OK. First you need to pull out all three knobs for the HVAC controls. Then unscrew the screws behind the knobs. (I think it's two). Now you will need something fairly wide, very thin, but fairly strong to pry off the plastic surround around the CD player and HVAC controls. I used a 2in wide, metal scraper for this. It's a good idea to wrap this with a paper towel so you don't scratch the pannel, expecially if you have to use a flat head screwdriver to do this. It is held in with clips and it is somewhat hard to pry off. Just start on one of the sides, not the top. Now you have access to the CD player. It's held in with 4 screws (two on each side). On mine I had to use the Factory brackets on the new CD player. It may have been only me, but the two screws that hold the bracket on the Factory CD player were on there very tight and I stripped the rear screw on each side. Just make sure your philips screwdriver is large enough to fit the screws and take your time when taking them off. Put the brackets on the new CD player and reverse the removal instructions for installation.
Hope this helps.
