For those with an Evo8, is there a rear cross-member behind the rear seats?
Should be able to see it when the trunk is opened.

Yeah, there is a cross member. If I'm right, there is a diagonal piece on each side that meet at the center and then a center vertical piece. That's why there is no folding rear seat. The regular Evo has a trunk lining that covers it. The Evo RS has a nekked trunk.
