funny story. alrite i bought my evolution this past friday at malloy mitsu in woodbridge. i knew i got a kik a$$ deal when i left. they were givin it 2 me for 29999 (with the sun, sound, leather package) and the total came out to be alittle under 32 with everything included (even interest). the good part was that they come down from 4.9% to 1.9 and even offered 0% (just to draw us in). so we get teh 1.9% which i havnt heard anyone else get (maybe u guys have but i havnt heard about it). anyways i'm enjoyin the hell out of it, but it's only break in period so cant have 2 much fun, just trying to break it in so it treats me right in the long run nad i got the odometer upto 280 till yesterday. I get a call from mitsubishis finance director at malloy and he tells me there's been a big mistake and how we're not supposed 2 ever give 1.9 for the evo. he tells us to come today so we can work something out (thinkin he might lower the base price and increase the interest rate, so the total price stayes the same). so we go today and the guys like we've never done this before (1.9 for the evo) and he's liek sorry it's impossible unless we get a check from a bank. i didnt know what 2 say. all he said was like we can give u 4.9 which would ballon the payments a considerable amont so we're like no. we want 1.9. then he's became real rude so at the end we jjust decided to walk out and give him the used car (with exactly 302 miles). well the funny part is before buying it i had never test drivin it before so at least i got 302 miles of mad fun for FREE . i have no idea why they just couldnt give it the 1.9 to us. now they're gonna end up losin mad more money because it's got 300miles and + people who buy it would want to knwo why it has 300miles. but it works for me. i've decided to wait for the 05 evo or teh mr which ever is out 1st.

 

I would have told him to go F himself and kept the car. You did sign all the papers and took delivery right? Why did you give it back, it's their problem not yours. But since you did give it back I'm sure you had a great time with the extedended test drive. Plus you can go got a different car now if you want. As long as your happy and not too bummed about the whole thing that's all that matters. by law if it was on paper and and both parties sign and agree, you could've kept the car-----.. yeah exactly that's the rule but then when i thought about it again it seemed alrite to give him thje car back and get the 05. the 04 is a year old in 4 months and + i got 300 miles so im happpy! hopefully dont hAVE 2 wait to long for the 05 cuz the evos r FUN!!

 

i got a better idea.
take your papers to court, sue the crap out of them for breaching a contract, and get an evo for free

unless the story is BS, which is what i smell.

especially since $45 isnt ballooning anything

i smell something too...since the dealer would never take back a USED Evo. That's an automatic loss of 2000 on the value of the car.
