What did you trade to get your EVO?
 

Hey I was just thinking about my old car I kinda miss it althought I LOVE my Evo and I was wondering did any of you guys trade a car that you loved for you evo??
I traded My 2001 Mustang Cobra for my evo.

Nope traded a 91 Chevy pickup with 250K on it that i had for 9 years.

I took apart my baby, a 2002 SC'd civic si with over $15k in parts. Used the money for the DP and basically broke even on the trade.

2002 Z06 405HP. Yeah, sometimes I regret it. Especially when the Evo has been sitting in the garage for 2 months. Don't ask. Search, you'll find out why. :D

I trade my Yugo Na just kidding I bought it as a second car for the wife and first car for me.....

I traded in my 2000 dodge stratus. One hel of a long distance ride, but definitly not my EVIE. Oh and alot of heart ache and ass chewing frommy wife. But the cost of me driving it: PRICELESS

yeahhhh im sure you miss the sound of that big V8 :D

I sold my NSX to get the funds for my MR & a small home project....traded in my G35 Coupe 6MT for a TL.....a few regrets, but was forced to anyways....(baby on the way & need 4-doors{thumbup} )

Not only that but I miss driving!!!! I've never owned a car that has had so much downtime, mainly due to waiting and defective part.

To put it into perspective, in a year I have put about 1k miles on the car. :lol:

for the record I probably wouldn't have an Evo today if it wasn't for New England winters hahah, oh well I love it.

i traded in a 91 chev k1500 and my baby, a 89' f250 wtih dual straight pipes and glass packs(god i miss that sound) :crap:

But i never regret it, i would do it all over again in a heartbeat

I had a 98 GSX that was replaced by the EVO mainly because I was afraid it was gonna blow up! 138k low 12 second miles on the stock 7 bolt motor. The EVO is 10x the car the GSX was and my insurance actually went down! LOL -- I haven't looked back.
