VW people giving me hard time
 

Alot of these guys are good friends and all they want to do is give me a really hard time. I posted a video of the AMS Evo that I "THINK" this past weekend set a new record. At any rate the last video I seen of the car it was at like 640 wheel, and now it like 932. They are saying the motor is short lived {thumbdwn} I wouldn't think it is.

Why do you even bother talking to them? Who cares about VWs? You have an Evo, so you're now in a higher echelon. Leave them to their woeful Dubs...

vwjeff, you made a valid point at the end of your thread. I think you kind of came on strong with your reasons to switch and you will always get people flaming you for that. Good decision though!

Thaxs guys :beer: However I don't have Evo yet, just tring to make a valid point, as to why I want an Evolution. And why I want to sell the R. I love my GTi vr6t and woundn't even trade it for an Evo. I have gone through so much with that car when I turbo'd it, I have had it running strong for about 2 years now. I could never sell my baby. You know how that is {thumbup}

the other crowds are always like this, when i upgraded to my 8 all my friends were like oh why you getting that and blah blah blah. just they didnt want to see someone get a faster car then them.

they have no idea what an evolution is all about...just pure ignorance. vw's have a lot of reliablity problems as well so idk where they get off that "it's still a mitsubishi." ive seen the light and have for a while now. im going to be getting rid of my gti so i can get a evo in a couple of months.
