just got my insurance bill!!!
 

i went from an 04 lancer ralliart to a 06 evo IX SE and my insurance went up $15. looks like now its around $80 vs $65 per month for the RA. kinda sux, they told me before i bought it that it would only go up $7/month. i think i'm gonna call and see if my truck can be listed as recreational due to me only putting less than 4000 miles/yr on it.

is $80/month about the same as others in my age group, 36yrs old, no wrecks, last ticket was 7/92???

So you're doing pretty well actually. Keep in mind though location plays the biggest role with your insurance, then your age, driving record, and other demographics.

eh? $80 a month an you're compaining? i would take $80 any day. i have a perfect record......no ticket, no accident, been driving for 11 years, had driving training and i' paying $110 a month. and that's considered very good.....in Assachuestts.

Where i live you have to be 25 to have insurance on a evo or anything that's a race car. so from 1.8 up even under your parnets. i'm 21 n i'm paying 200us a month which works out to 160ci(my money) a month. been drivin 3 yrs....i know some ppl paying 400us a month for there 06 cars.

so consider you guys lucky

i was just kidding about the sux part. i know i have good insur rates. they did however tell me it would only be $7 increase. ole well, i knew alot of guys here were younger than me and paying high dollar insur. i was there in the early 90's with my DWI and all. i feel the pain. its nice to be older and have cheaper insurance. cool cool
